We offer an easy self-referral process for those wishing to talk

At Insight we understand that it quite often takes courage to make that first step towards speaking with a counsellor. Your first appointment is an opportunity for you to consider whether counselling is for you.

The five minute self-referral form

  1. Get familiar with our process and what is required for self-referral.
  2. Enter your personal details in the first section. Don’t worry, this is kept strictly confidential and won’t be shared with anyone other than your assigned counsellor.
  3. Select your preferred location and share your availability and best times for us to get in touch with you.
  4. Let us know if you would prefer to talk to us face-to-face, by video call or over the telephone.
  5. Tell us as much as you’re comfortable about sharing about why you wish to speak to a counsellor. There is no wrong answer here and any information you can share will help us identify the best counsellor for you.
  6. Submit the self-referral form online and we will be in touch as soon as possible with more information. Generally this is within 48 hours.

What you need to fill out this form

What will the Counsellor ask me?
Will I see the same counsellor at future appointments?
When will I see a counsellor again?
Will I need to pay for my appointment?
What training/qualifications will my counsellor have?
Will you need to tell anyone about my attendance at Counselling?
Do you keep records and can I have access to them if I wish?
What if I’m unhappy with the service I receive?
Can I bring my children with me?
